Secrets of Successful Blogging by Ted Demopoulos is a cute little booklet packed full of useful, interesting, enlightening tips and advice. I just love a book that I can fit in my pocket, purse or wherever I need it to be. Yes, I am that girl that has a book in every room and more bookcases than I have room for. I even donate regularly to my local library - my books are still here.
Anyway, Ted was kind enough to send me a copy of this book, which has 101+ Tips for Blogging More Efficiently, Effectively, and Profitably. That sentence right there alone has a sweet ring to it, and it is not all talk. Ted really brings you everything you need to know in order to start a successful blog to make a profit from. You just have to do the work and put in the effort to make it successful.
Secrets of Successful Blogging brings you through the blog process step by step making it incredibly easy for anyone to start up a successful blog. I think my technologically challenged mom could follow this guide and start a blog (she has a hard time with her cell phone, remote, VCR - yes, she still has one, I think).
In the book Ted talks about planning, blog design, writing skills, publicizing, search engine optimization, tips for more traffic, profiting, and many, many more tips. He even adds in some quotes from other bloggers that are humorous and inspirational.
This isn't a book that is going to answer all of your questions about blogging, but it will certainly get you and your blog started off right and send you on your way to a successful blog. I recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about starting a blog, or for those who have blogs, but want to make more money.
